Hello puny players,

LEGION has started merge with Athenian Elite. With v2.0 coming out Evolution will be your new nightmare. We have gathered the best players from us both and continuing with our world domination plan.

The rest of you,
have a good day, even if it's your last one.

I Love your sig aaxc

However its eerie to see a corpse writing in the forum.:p

Evolution ain't Legion.:pro: It's a palace revolition where some leaders left the founders since they got real life family problems and wasnt able to continue to play much latetly.

LEGION still stands strong. However some like aaxc apperantly has died and left and gone into the second world as evolution.

1st of all, you knew perfectly about the plan that LEGION will merged with AE, but you and vikingr stayed behind, because you where the only 2 from council, that did not like that idea.
2nd, there is no more LEGION. It's called Evolution. As I said we are merging, and it might take some time, till all of ppl come back from weekend to finish the merge.
3rd. why do you try change the facts, that someone has betrayed LEGION. An alliance is based on it's players. If the players leave, there is no alliance. Just accept it and get over it.

U knew about this ... we talked about this ... you decided not to join the majority of the players ... and now you are insulting that we are traitors? You just gotta be joking.

To make thigs even ...

Lets have this in two places shall we:

right that took too much of my time going through.
here's what i have in mind.
and seeing how i still have some sort of say in things being the founder of LGII and being in LG since day1.
we can forget evolution altogether
here's a snippet from one of the many mails i have had to get through on this.

i understand that its Evolution they want to change it to? if so... Legion to Evolution is pretty gay.

says it all in my book.
right since were all used to typing LG and LGII simply add LGIII we know who we are we know what we do and so does everyone on this server.
yes i respect all members from AE on evrything they have achieved as well.
but if it's dead weight were getting rid off then simply drop them move back to our founding blocks and start again.
we keep LGII as our ranking and recruiting and move all hard core active members into LG or vise versa.
and AE do the same and we go on a recruiting drive then.
that way everyone keeps their names and history intact.
to some people this is only a game but for the best part of a year now it's a ritual to me being on here doing my S*** as some say.
am nbot trying to throw a spanner in the works. we can clearly see it's not as clear cut as some might have thought.
and for any who think name isn't everything. well i beg to differ for months in the open forum all other people spoke about was us and how to stop us. simple have loads of us go inactive and we fight amongst ourselves over a joining merge whatever it is your calling it. end of the day were all here for the same reason to fight and win the server and also move onto hero's world.
am also going to out it to you that if there are any who would prefer a move into an "elite" alliance fine by all means we'll live and move on and keep our name going. just seems a waste of a lot of peoples time and effort aaxc in planning our rise to hero's world by getitng our island ready already.
he has put a lot into that and if the merge/join goes ahead what happens to our islands then we have 2 full and working on our 3rd. so you see there's a lot more to it than moving top players from one side to another.
i think i have said my peace so for Me it would be LG LGII LGIII sorry guys. but that is my vote.

I just want to fill in a few blanks with regards to this post by Vik. It should be noted that this post directly followed three pages of council discussion between both Athenian and Legion family council members regarding both details of the merge and a discussion of what to call ourselves, as this merge was more a joining of forces than anything else. Eight of Ten council members agreed to the terms and the name Evolution. We liked it, as it represents exactly what this is.

..right that took too much of my time going through.
here's what i have in mind…

So…we’re dismissing the opinions of council? Ooooookay.

...am also going to out it to you that if there are any who would prefer a move into an "elite" alliance fine by all means we'll live and move on and keep our name going....

This sounds like a “my way or the highway” attitude to me. We chose the highway as opposed to remaining under a founder acting as a dictator.

In light of all this I have to ask…what's the problem?

We went ahead with our merge that 8/10 council members had agreed upon and you guys get to keep the name you are so attached too. Win Win…everybody’s happy.

It’s just too bad you guys weren’t more attached to players it used to come with. Because in the end it’s not really about the name. It’s about the people and teamwork behind the name.

Interesting - Congrats with your move. Looking forward to see the changes in game.

One of the problems with theese so called elite alliances is that its damn hard to prevent sim players to seek shelter under the name/united forces - Its a part of the game but from my point of wiev will it only succed 50% of the times - Am I correct in that??

But any way - good luck to all of you - Hope it will make this world more interesting in the long run

I actually agree with vikingr. If I was on the council I would have voted no. However, I always stay with the people not with the alliance. So since most voted the other way then I move with the people.

Also just for accuracy sake. Iota started in September and LEGION didn't start right from the beginning (at least it took awhile for it become a noticeable alliance) so the longest that anyone has been in LEGION is only about 3 months not the best (unless of course best is referring to quality and not quantity in that statement).

Thanks. No-one had any bad intentions on this merge. The majority of the council in Legion wanted to merge and those that didn't said they were happy for anyone that wanted to start up Evolution to do so as long as Legion still existed.

We still hope to stay close with Legion.

Im hardly a part of the inner workings of this alliance, but im certainly disapointed in the merger.

Legion built itself from the ground up and was a strong name. Now we've thrown away all that we accomplished in total battle point rankings and our identity to get more players...

In the end, evolution will be stronger, I just wish we could have kept going...

None of us wanted to start a new alliance from scratch. We were just forced to.
Our identity is still intact. We are still the very same people as before.

And about the ABP ranking, well we can do something about it: get out and kick asses :)

The Truth.

Now this thread right here is quite amusing... Lets talk about stats for just a second, Hell Lets talk about what "Evo's" Do to their members if heaven forbid A city gets taken while under their Flag. Do you know what happens to those members? Their promptly REMOVED for the alliance so as not to effect their stats. Regardless of how long or loyal that member has been... It really shows the loyalty or lack thereof of this "Mighty Alliance." Nice to see you have great marketing skills that you apply to recruiting. Quality though, is Much better than Quantity And Ultimately will lead to your downfall. (And of course the copious amounts of name changing to save face.)

And THE DEATH CRUSADERS have a voice! Damn, that's what I'm talking about. Honestly Evo... I too have witnessed how you have cut people out after they've lost cities. What's up with that? Look at how fast the 3rd wing of Evolution arose, and then collapsed just the same. How do you go from over 300 members before the merge, down to 120, back up to about 150, and then to 120 again. It seemed that "recruiting every oceans top players to take over Iota" didn't work so well. Roky asked us to divert our attention elsewhere instead of being one of the 10 (?) alliances you are at war with. Well if our targets are going to get kicked out anyway, what's the point?

Then we just have to take one city from every Evo and they will be crushed :p

Edit : P.S. Syliss, can you stop using that "sig" ? It strikes the eye...
Edit2 : Exactly why I did mentioned it jena... :)

Besides, animated gifs are not allowed.

EVOs started as a collection of experienced players. We want to keep this high-level profile. As such, we have no howto or guides, since our players are supposed to know how to play. We don't have an academy wing for the very same reason.

It is true that we invited players with not so impressive stats (I was and I'm still against this attitude tho). We put them on trial. Someone proved to be a good player afterall. Others were kicked because they were not playing the EVO style: some of them were not cooperative (aka solo players), inactive (if you're under attack, you just can't come online once a day...), noob (attacking with swords, unescorted transports, ...) unable to read the "READ ME FIRST" post of a forum tab, and so on.

There is no space for such players in our alliance.

Right. And those were the ones that were booted. And...lets face it. They shouldn't have been in our alliance. Joining just put a target on their backs that they might not have been wearing had they not. Since they were not good/only semi-active players they had no clue how to deal with it. No one forced them to join evo.

And to make it clear: No long standing member of our team has been booted.

Players are never booted for losing a city. Players are booted usually for not being a team player, not being able to follow instructions etc or not being active.

A couple were asked to leave do to their location, they were a target under our flag and we felt they wouldn't be better off in another alliance.

None of the recent 'bootings' were done without a lot of discussion and input from our council and also players were aware we were doing this and some were even set targets. Not only did some not achieve the target but they didn't even bother to mail and explain why. Quick enough to mail when they got removed though.

No loyal, hard working player will ever be booted from Evo
