This.

Must be disappointing for the old Wiki mod (Thomas) to know that all the great effort he put into is is getting lost. :p

But.... the last edit was on may sixth by Shanara (she got out of Richie's basement after all? ).
It seems they keep pages updated, just not the small corrections requests. :D

If they would just have the wiki function as an actual wiki, EG: anybody can make changes, then the information would be kept up to date.

You can set it so only registered (or even approved) users can edit. Mistakes are easily fixed/reverted.

All you gotta do is look at wikipedia as an example. There are millions of people using it, thousands of people entering incorrect/false info, and only a hundred or so regular editors. There's not much of a problem.

This is on a much smaller scale so I really don't understand why they don't do it.

Matey. In the past they used this system. But then vandalism showed up. Entire pages were vandalised with nonsense, mistakes were put on it on purpose etc etc etc.

It's better to have a select group of wiki editors.

Is this thread still active? If so, the following is from the "Gods" page.

In Grepolis, there are five gods, Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Athena and Hades, with Artemis being available only in Hero Worlds. Each god can enact four different divine powers (which affect different things such as troop attack or resource income or even defence) and call upon two unique mythical units.

"there are five gods" should end in a colon, not a comma. Comma needed after "Athena" (Oxford comma). Inside the parentheses should be "which affect different things, such as attacks, resource income, or even defence"

In the Temple you can select which god you would like to worship. Each city can choose which god to worship, however each city can only worship one god at a time. The higher the level of your Temple, the more favour you earn from your chosen god. You can spend this favour to enact divine powers or call upon mythical units.

Comma after "In the Temple"
Second sentence should be "Each city can choose which god to worship; however, each city can only worship one god at a time."

What god is right for your city depends on your situation. It is therefore quite useful to change the god you worship many times throughout the game, as well as having different gods for each city. Do this wisely, for when you switch gods you lose all your favour as well as mythical units and divine powers from your previous god.

More of a technicality than anything, but the ", as as having" in the second sentence should perhaps be changed to "and to have"

Divine Powers may only be cast upon certain things. Eg. a divine power that affects troops must be cast upon a troop movement.

"Divine powers may only be cast upon certain things, e.g., a divine power that effects troops must be cast upon a troop movement."
Powers wasn't capitalized before, so it's just a matter of consistency lol.

Hope that helped a little. I'm American, so if there are any grammatical inconsistencies between how countries teach English... sorry in advance lol XD

For the wiki on ghosts it says you conquer ghosts as soon as you land. On hyperborea it takes 24 hours for you to take that ghost.

That is wrong, it takes 24 on a speed 1, 12 on a speed 2, and 8 on a speed 3 to conquer a ghost. It is basically the same as conquest.

Temple
Purpose
In the Temple, you can worship the God of your choice. There are six Gods in Grepolis: Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Athena, Hades and Artemis. Each of the Grepolis Gods can grant different Divine powers and bring different mythical units to life to assist you. For both, you require Divine Favor that is generated by worshiping your chosen God at the temple. The higher the level of the temple, the more Divine Favor you will be granted by the Gods.

Favor is calculated as the square root of all your added temple levels for the God you worship. i.e, you have 3 cities worshiping Zeus with temple levels 25, 13 and 19. Your favor for Zeus will then be the square root of 25+13+19 or 7.5/hour.

Formula: Game speed x (square root of (temple levels + number of divine statues in cities worshiping that god x 5))

Example 2: So lets say you have one level 25 temple, one lvl 14 temple and 2 divine statues, all in cities worshipping Hera, (statues counts as 5 levels each) on a speed 1 world. The formula would be:

= Game speed(1) x (square root of (25 +14 + 2x5))

= Game speed(1) x (square root of 49)

= Game speed(1) x 7

= 1 x 7

= 7 favor per hour

Formula: Game speed x (square root of (temple levels + number of divine statues in cities worshiping that god x 5))

This is incorrect. The correct sum would be:

Formula: Game speed x (square root of (temple levels + (number of divine statues in cities worshiping that god x 5)))

Same mistake is made here.

Example 2: So lets say you have one level 25 temple, one lvl 14 temple and 2 divine statues, all in cities worshipping Hera, (statues counts as 5 levels each) on a speed 1 world. The formula would be:

= Game speed(1) x (square root of (25 +14 + (2x5)))

= Game speed(1) x (square root of 49)

= Game speed(1) x 7

(25 + 15 + 2 x 5) is the same as (25 + 15 + (2 x 5)). I am not quite sure I understand the difference here.
