Answered useing a reinforcement reward with insufficient free population

ok so here's my dilemma,

I used my mant-reinforcement spell in in a town with democritus in it and I got lucky and it doubled.
thing is I have by far not enough free population for all these manticore's ( gonna get 6 per hour for 14 hours)

I want to know what happens now, if after 5 or so hours I hit the zero free population, am I gonna lose all other manticores or am I still gonna get them and does my free population gets below zero?

thanks in advance for anyone who solves this little mistery for me

PS; sorry for first posting this question in the anwsered questions section, if someone who has authority can delete it, you have my gratitude.

you will get mantis til your pop runs out
sorry you can't have negative pop and get the extra
BUT, if you free up pop in the meantime, you will get more
the computer only knows there's no free pop at each hour and will continue to try until the buff is done, so every hour you could get mantis if you kill things
either use mantis you already have there, kill other pop, or break down buildings

At 11340 population, I seriously doubt it. :p I'm not even sure if you can fit 100 mantis in 1 city.
