A Little Byzantium Story

So since this forum is rather boring and not all that adrenaline producing, I thought i'd crack out a little story :)

Once upon a time, there was an alliance, by the name of
The Orion Empire
They have decent points and allies, (we'll get to their fighting capabilities later..)
One day, an old player from Gamma comes back to see what's up in Grepolis and decides to join Byzantium. this player goes by the name of xpoodog.
After 2 days he was around 300 points, and was messaged by Sheboyegan (the leader of The Orion Empire)

Sheboyegan: stay active and get 500 pts, and you can get an invite to the 42nd best alliance!

I told him i did not want an invite because i was already in an alliance that was growing fast (Conquistadors)
he claimed he was insulted and declared that I would be wiped off the map by him and his mighty alliance!

So about a week goes by, the Conquistadors have grown by about 45,000 points, (still half of The Orion Empire) and Sheboyegan sends attacks towards my city...
The attacks of course were destroyed (the last attack consisted of all of his land troops completely unescorted) and the leader asked that we call off the war
Sheboyegan : I dont have time for this campaign, so I will try to stop my attack, take you off the enemies list, and call off my troops. We have a different problem now

of course he would not reveal what his problem was. (therefor raising suspicion that maybe...just maybe...he realized he had been outmaneuvered )

another week goes by, and Sheboyegan is at it again, trying to convince one of our closest allies to declare war on us and wipe us off the map.
well The Orion Empire will soon be faced with a real fight, and NOT unescorted transports.

hope you enjoyed the story :)
comments/thoughts welcome

The leader of The Myrmidons sent an attack at me... I gained over 300 BP without losing a single ship or troop.

You can find out who the real noobs are when they send you unescorted transports! ;)

Oh, and the Krazy thing is, is that he sent another attack even bigger, later on. Guess what? No light ships.

and they`re one of the `greatest alliances out there`;)

they also like to attack with biremes...

They obviously are using rocket power to move there troops around, seriously what a waste of troops and ships.
What would be funny is if you could find out who they are fighting with and message the closest to him to let them know his city is empty as they are partying in your city. :D

we already have that system set up :p
it's always good to ally with people across the world

At least they arent sending 1-swordman attacks on your city... those tough tough lone sowrdsmen have a way of breaking your lines and make you crumble under laughter I cannot explain..

I didnt even know someone could send lone troops to attack your city but somehow I was beat to the punch by that fabulous player (last week)

and I'm still waiting til my 2 thousand trireme fleet is concluded to fight back

You will be lucky to get over 180 Triremes in a single village, i am not saying its imposible just really hard to work out the build to maximise population.

Word in the street is that trireme fleets are so powerful no one has survived to tell the story, hence why you barely hear about it. ;)
