gimp was easy for me cause my sister could teach me some of the basics. its also free which is definitely a bonus ;)

GIMP by far! I would have said Adobe Fireworks a month ago....

In case you were wondering, my reason for taking this poll is the basis of a possible competition. Depending on the number of people who vote in the next, say 24 hours, we could have a competition between the PS and GIMP users.

you mean like a picture competition? people from both PS and gimp make something and people judge it?

Each of the people that use PS make a piece of work, and each of the people who use GIMP make a piece of work. The PS art is classed as one portfolio, and the GIMP art as another. People then vote for their favourite portfolio. In essence, it's one team vs another.
