Hello everyone. This is a 'Advanced' Gimp Guide for those of you who want to improve your skills on Gimp.

Sure there are many guides on the Internet for Gimp, but this will help us more in-depth to Gimp.

Before I start if you are not sure on Gimp have a look on carf's Gimp Tutorial.. PrimeX's Photoshop Tutorial is also good but it might slightly differ from this tutorial.

This tutorial won't help you make the most brilliant signature, but it will lead you up there.

Forum Rules
  • Max Sig Size - 700x120 pixels
  • Max Avy Size - 80x80 pixels
  • No Animated Pictures allowed

Things you need to make a signature or avatar

  • Gimp (you can download it from www.gimp.org)
  • Internet (for getting pics or renders from the internet)
  • Space on your computer (to save artwork, brushes and fonts)
  • Imagination and Themes (it's no good copying the style of other people. Be fresh, Be yourself)

I am highly doubting you will not be able to fit your tutorial in 3, 4 at the highest. You should still be at post count 380.
