Looks like most of what I said is true, or nearly true. RR, now Old smoke or something, gee I should know I'm still in it, is still floating. However, I was wrong on some of the swimmers.
mm

From a neutral perspective, you said Myonia Guard would sink and they were your academy lol

Not entirely true, since most of our members left *after Founder told them too* the rest, myself included, stayed for some fun. We're still going strong though.

I see that the old MRA discussion is dead? The floating or sinking of an alliance is defined more by the quality and maturity of its leadership rather than by the number of people they take in, and you can't get this from the statistics. You have to live it!

We have seen powerful alliances strong in numbers and points to crumble from one day to the next because a single person had a RL problem... Others that were also big in peace times but whenever the rigours of war started demonstrated that they were not able to survive under pressure.

How wrong can you be when taking a picture with a world only a couple days old? Have you taken a look at the first post of this thread?
The only alliances surviving today out of that after only 2 months are The League of Legions (Thriving and very much alive. I never saw a "Swim" vote" for it) and **PirateS**, who are with the ship half full of water, but outlived all the alliances that were "sure bets" at the time.

For sure the alliance landscape will continue to evolve fast. A big number of today's top 12 will not make it past the next two months, and new alliances and leaders will take their places. And only those alliances with a leadership that believes and practices teamwork will make it through the long months that we have ahead!

Wow the above post is the best I have seen on this forum, something well written with no malice and completely true!

Excuse me, but have you noticed any of my posts on this thread? I said LoL would still be here from my first sink or swim post here. I have also seen a couple other posts putting LoL as a swim, though you are quite correct in saying that almost every single person had LoL sinking. I also had **Pirates** being the last top 12 alliance (that started out) besides LoL to go down, and what has happened?

As to the current situation, EN and LoL are gonna keep fighting, nobody winning for a while, until someone brings over all the other top alliances and forms a coalition, then gets the other to merge into them. At that point, either they will disintegrate because of the different opinions in the alliance, or they will go on to dominate the WWs. I hope the first happens, because then there will be an actual fight for the Wonders, like there sorta was on Chi.

Also, I have no idea what the inside of EN is like, but my alliance is pacted with LoL and has come from Chi with them, so I know that LoL is a very organized, mature and team-centered alliance that will definitely "win" this war if it is possible for one side to win.

In one op EN took over 40 cities from in three days in one ocean. Keep in mind that EN started in ocean 63. We are working our way toward O45 now.

EN deff did their thing on that O54 OP. However we only had like 4 players there. Wasn't a huge suprise. Only reason you guys even have a presence in 45, is because you took in refugees of our war ;)

Here's an update with my opinions:

1 Eviction Notice 22346633 147 152018 - Top dog, gonna be quite a feat to knock them off. Swim, hell, they are nautical engineers.
2 The League of Legions 18290867 149 122757 - Very good competitors, somewhat humble, decent players with experience. Swim.
3 Wargasm 10276501 137 75011 - Good alliance dominating the outer core/rim in the SE. Swim.
4 Unity 7119755 129 55192 - Allied with Eviction Notice, they will definitely be assisting in World Wonder building. Swim
5 Black Rain 6080310 119 51095 - Seems to be an MRA of defunct and disbanded alliances. Sink.
6 No Pants Allowed 5051467 48 105239 - Very odd that they have pacted with everyone, survival strategy. Sink.
7 Romanian Fighters 4023796 53 75921 - Oh how they have fallen recently, if bdf cannot correct this ship it will... Sink.
8 The Legionnaires 3456505 128 27004 - Training alliance for #2 LoL, I don't believe they will be around during World Wonder time. Sink.
9 The Syndicate 2796964 123 22740 - Formerly Romanian Fighters-AC... I imagine this is their last gasp for air before they... Sink.
10 ATALANTE 2252612 81 27810 - Formed in the far western oceans, going to be hard to dominate from their position. Sink.
11 **PirateS** 1845819 35 52738 - Not much left here, most of their active players have been recruited elsewhere. Sink.
12 W.T.F. 1682023 40 42051 - Not familiar with this alliance, but with all the other Sinking alliances, they have a chance to... Swim.

I agree with a lot, but here are my changes:

1 Eviction Notice 22346633 147 152018 - Top dog, gonna be quite a feat to knock them off. But LoL is gonna do it, or at least give them a huge run for their money around WW time
2 The League of Legions 18290867 149 122757 - Very good competitors, somewhat humble, decent players with experience. Swim. No Change.
3 Wargasm 10276501 137 75011 - Good alliance dominating the outer core/rim in the SE. Swim. No Change
4 Unity 7119755 129 55192 - Eviction Notice's academy(although they may not realize it) they will follow EN.
5 Black Rain 6080310 119 51095 - Seems to be an MRA of defunct and disbanded alliances. Sink. No Change
6 No Pants Allowed 5051467 48 105239 - They were one of the causes of the destruction of Romanian Fighters, small very elite alliance. Swim.
7 Romanian Fighters 4023796 53 75921 - Everybody jumped ship, not sure if they are even in the top 20 anymore. Sink Sink SINK!
8 The Legionnaires 3456505 128 27004 - Training alliance for #2 LoL. In Chi, LoL had academies/sister alliances until the WWs, then they absorbed them. I assume the same will happen here.
9 The Syndicate 2796964 123 22740 - Formerly Romanian Fighters-AC... I imagine this is their last gasp for air before they... Sink. No Change
10 ATALANTE 2252612 81 27810 - A few players from fallen MRAs that banded together, a worse version of Black Rain. Sunk before they started to float.
11 **PirateS** 1845819 35 52738 - It looks like this ship has quite a few holes in it, half the players in VM to avoid being rimmed, the other half fighting for life deep in LoL territory. Sink.
12 W.T.F. 1682023 40 42051 - Fighting Black Rain, and as long as Black Rain continues to be a MRA, W.T.F. is gonna keep on climbing in the ranks. A late start, but good coordinating.

And that is my version of yours.

Also,

300th POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

Go to see someone giving NPA some credit.......inactivity was a major cause why RF disbanded, but secondary causes were NPA who took cities from their founder and set a milestone for other alliances.
