that's not a bug. that's how the app is, although you should get your rewards, you just have to find them. lots of stuff can't be done on the app.

In terms of functionality the app is always going to be behind the browser version but the devs are always working on bridging that gap. We'll let them know about the features you listed being missed, I'm sure they are aware but more feedback is always a great thing.

I have the app. I get the daily rewards. Might be your copy of the game malfunctioning. Consider reinstall or run a cache cleaner.
