For me best alliance was The Enlightened......TE

Best Players - too many to name but a few Devils, DevilsKronic, DerekRisen, Neverlose, THORLEN!, Shadowcat Underworld3 and many more......sparkz too.....eeeek Sexerexes too!

Big shout to Open Source Government!

- forgot about Alexander The Very Great (possibly one of the most disliked players at a time - legend non-the-less) Acmilan04 too.

Best fight? Eugh all of them I ever had - esp the one's I won :)

Best SERVER & WORLD EVER and the most diverse and interesting!

Epsilon and its players will always be unique my brothers :)

Creating and leading The Enlightened. I've never again had the honour to lead such a great group of people/players.
Still seeing the name around (in some form), after over a year of World Epsilon brings a warmth to my heart ;)

~D

P.s. Thanks to the couple of people who have mentioned me, I appreciate it.
P.p.s. Yes, I'm still around, at least for a little while. :)

I've finally come around to quitting Epsilon. I tried just staying to keep my Epsilon account due to having it for 2+ years...Took a lot to finally end this account and hope that all the players I've met or fought against have fun in whatever worlds they may go into.

Good Luck to everyone for the rest of Epsilon but it has finally died in my opinion.

Just came back to the forums to see what was happening. I wanted to join the world again (would be third time) but I can't which isn't really a surprise. I was wanting one of these threads to come up on here but I've never posted a thread and didn't know how to word it. Anyway...

I joined this world a month after it started with of a friend of mine. This was my first world on Grepoils so I had no idea what I was doing. We made and alliance called Posidens Worshipers. (Posiden's his favorite god not mine.) That didn't last long. I'd say a couple weeks at the most.

After that, we we got invited to an alliance called Buring Angels. It was the first real alliance I was in. We were located in Ocean 36 and were at war with either The Dragon Force or Domination (I forget). I didn't do anything there because I didn't know what to do.

We ended up winning the war against TDF/Domination and then our alliance merged with with two other alliances (forget names) and we became the Knights of Burning Norse (KOBN). KOBN was where I met most of the players that I played with through my time in Epsilon. KOBN was also the alliance I stayed in most and the one I will remember most. Despite this, most of the players were like me-unexperienced. I stayted in this alliance for I don't know how long. While I was still trying to learn the game better, some of my friends left and others stayed. But I was later to know I would cross paths with those who left in the future (<--hint).

KOBN eventually ran into war problems so we ran (merged) into Black Watch. BW was the alliance where I learned the game alot better. I became a much better player in this alliance. There isn't much to say about BW except that I met more friends there (It's important to me). it was pretty boring in the far south (I had moved to O47 by now) where I was.

After a few months in BW, I got an invite to Pathfinders (refer back to hint). Pathfinders was a very good alliance and I thoght if they were too good for me. I was welcomed with open arms though which I was very grateful for. In Pathfinders I bettered (made a word) my skills and became a more agressive player. I enjoyed the alliance until the end.

Akwardly (or not) that's how my Journey of Epsilon (<-- could be a book...) ends. I left the game mostly because of scool :)P) but also partially because of bordem. I had a great time in the world and it was by far my most favorite world I have played in. Nowadays I continue to hop worlds trying out different strategies and seeing how good they work. I'll share any positive findings if you guys plan to continue playing Grepolis after this world.

What battle was your favorite or most rememberable?
Pathfinders vs SE because it was basically the only one I got involved in.

What alliance was the greatest?
Skill-Pathfinders
Memories-KOBN

Who were the greatest? (no order)
Daveio, Karyn, Izzking, dominotx711, travis1211, timmyk, chaosreturns, mr godsword

What players made the most impact during your play?
The Greatest

Whats the worst battle?
N/A-I consider myself to only be involved in 1 battle (which is sad considering how long I played the world).

Who has been the worst player?
The 175 point player guy who quits within 2 minutes of playing.

I don't think I ever did this proper...so hear goes :D

What battle was your favorite or most rememberable?
I loved KOBN vs TDF. That was a butt kickin done with sheer strategy. I did like OFA vs SE however, because I met some great teamwork.

What alliance was the greatest?
Straight up I think the greatest was -VII-

Who were the greatest?
Most Memorable:
Daveio (uber loser) - Best friend IG and worst enemy :D
Bobdude - Ahhh, when I first met him, I just wanted to ring his neck. But, I never did, and now I'd play any game with him.
SpartacusBringerOfRain - lol...

What players made the most impact during your play?
PUG
obviously Daveio (when we fought the whole world felt the vibrations, and he use to chase me all over the core of Epsilon when he was mad at me :D)
Reb1, TenaciousD1 (Neither of those were good impacts)
Blope

Whats the worst battle?
Right before PUG quit for OFA vs SE
and then when daveio was being a bully and came close to rimming me.

Who has been the worst player?
The old Subhadip, currently playing as the Rawr. He never got that strategy was almost more important than brute force, even when strategy won against TDF who was solely brute force...go figure.

wow it has been a long time since i have been here. i just saw a commercial for grepo and figured their probabky doin pretty good so decided to get on and see whats left, as im not surprised i still am a bit dissapointed at whos left the game but all things have an ending i guess i just wasnt ready for this one.

Favorite battle:
my favorite battle was back when we were in the early days of pathfinders and were broken up in to seperate fighting groups, i forgot what mine was called but were very efficient and made life hard for multiple players and alliances.
What alliance was the greatest:
like i previoulsy said pathfinders in its early stage was my favorite alliance before the leaving of certain leaders and then it fell apart slowly, there ended up being a lot of interanl issues and to many egos clashing to be productive so we slowly bled out.
Who were the greastest?
plenty of great people with wonderful personallites exsisted on this world, dominotx was someone who kinda took me in under her wing when i first started and while she was usually in the middle of drama and had a bit of temper :) she was a good person and i got to know her pretty well through game chat and many months fighting alongside her.
Davieo was always a friend i looked up to in game as he was one tough fighter and anybody who crossed him to attest to that, didnt get to know him as thourghly as i wanted but still a great guy, unless he would log on after a few drinks.. :)
bobdude was a young player that we tried to help as best we could because you could tell that he wanted to play the game and do the best he could, he had a lot to learn and as dom said sometimes you just wanted to strangle him, all things aside he was a great kid.
The worst battle?
seeing black watch get eatin alive was tough, i had a few friends in there that wouldnt leave the alliance even though everyone knew there was no hope, theres a lot to be said about someone who will ride it out till the end and they had my upmost respect. but that alliance could not muster up a spark of fight even to save face.
The worst player?
i've seen some of em menitoned already and i guess i would have to go with the old suphadip (dude was crazy) nuff said.
see yall around sometime and good luck to whoever is still playin epi.

I still remember the day I joined Epsilon. I was remarkably about 11 years old. I spawned next to some my best friends (in rl) near ocean 84. Soon I joined an alliance, and they kicked me, that happened several times before I went to Babylon and met NateCP/Matthew for those of us who knew him well. He helped me to get my first few cities along with BestofBlade. Sadly after the update to 2.0, most of Epsilon's players left, and babylon was shut down. Matthew had to leave; he was enlisting in the air force. It was a very dark time...then Duke112711 (one of my best friends now), invited me to Seriously Enlightened. I thought it over, and eventually joined I joined SE, the best alliance of all time, and truly #1. then Jack (what a retard) destroyed it. so I joined up with the Savages, a bunch of ex- SE players that still wanted to be a part of something HUGE. And we were. We fought off a bunch of LoO, who was truly a worthy opponent, mind their MRA-ing. To this day i remain in 84 and surrounding areas, the farthest east i ever made it was 65 i think. My goal was to make it to 45, the heart of the battle. I just wanna say thanks to the layers and greatest friends that made it possible.

What battle was your favorite or most rememberable?

Most likely LoO, as i don't remember anything else. They were all fun, and well fought.

What alliance was the greatest?

Definitely SE, until the fall. Then it was the Savages

Who were the greatest?

Me, duh! :p jk jk uhhh probly BestofBlade, Duke112711, and Destroyer66.

What players made the most impact during your play?

BestofBlade, NateCP, Dukke112711, and cloud9vdub.

Whats the worst battle?

None. they were all great and honorable fights.

Long Live the Savages

I destroyed it ? . with only players like you still in it after all the greats had gone the world was over . You have already been named the worst player on the server ...hahaha .
The best war for me was against SE ! never should have joined it as it was all down hill from there with knights templer & OSG falling apart then the great players of SE {top 10 } all go inactive . was so sad & was the end of the server .
Been great playing with the best of you & not so great playing with the small retards that forget it is a team game .
keep well all

Well,Epsi is closing. One may have a lot to say. What matters is that we all learned something.
Probably it is not good to start telling our whole stories.
A lot of emotions,a lot of fun.
One may agree or disagree ,depending on which side he was.
I haven't been part of Epsi since the start.Started only in January 2011,when server was already matured.
Had close a player who had a lot of friends in SE,but on his advice joined the academy of SWARM,then in April joined SWARM.
Never stopped loving that alliance,to this day.
It got killed from within,by the very so called leaders, who taught none and blamed all, except theirself.
There were exception,of course.
I have been a simmer in Epsi until August 2011,too much busy elsewhere to afford being aggressive.
Then started to play seriously here.
Until I quited in May,never lost a city,for 17 months,and there were some heated ops against me:D
I am proud to have been the last target of an organized Loo op in March,of course instigated by the SWARM killer,Mino The Backstabber.
A miserable failure for Loo,135k dbp for me in a single day,and with the new format, when supporters had their share of bp:)
I will not name any particular player as a friend, since they are so many:)(with due respect to BoB,Spike and DDW)
I pay due respect to Loo leaders for being ruthless enough, while SE never was ruled with an iron hand. The softness of leadership was their failure. While Loo was just an Aushvitz, with terror against simmers, who constituted the vast part of that alliance(as in every alliance).
It was not Jack who killed SE,no,SE got killed by the way it grew, through merges, without selection of fighters.
As long as it's masters were alive, all was well. When Underworld3 and Mel quit, all the problems appeared.
SE followed the wrong strategy when ww era started.
Efforts were spread in many ww,and the leadership of the time failed to organize both defense of ww,and sabotage of Loo ww.Probably it would have been better to concentrate only in fightings.Loo leaders had no mercy, and forced their simmers to contribute much more then the voluntary contributions of SE simmers.
SE ww were in the hands of irresponsible players.
It was not one mans fault.
Wish I had started earlier!!!!!
The moment ww battle was lost, and we started to be fighters again,Loo started to lose ground:D.
And they outnumbered us more then one to two overall!!!!
It was funny to see Achimedes not even trying to lift a single siege!!!!!
I miss GMDW:D,too difficult to capture him offline:)
I regret not to have had the chance to cross swords with Engaboy and other boasters like prodigason, rowney etc.
It was funny to see prodigalson boast of not having lost cities from Mino The Backstabber:D,the guy who sent unescorted full nukes:D.
A really low level:D:D
A salute to all:):)
