Maths Quiz – Unlock the TEMPLE

Ok Guys this is a challenge for those of you who think you are good at maths! Hopefully that's all of you!

The aim is to give me the calculation required to unlock the temple. You have the numbers and the answers so what I need is the calculation required to reach the total.

Example:
So you take the island numbers given (100, 19, 10, 6) and by adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing you need to find the calculation to achieve the temple number (1916).

Answer:
19 x 100 + 10 + 6 = 1916 - nice and easy :)

There’s 3 questions. To have a chance at the main prizes try all 3.

PRIZES:
6 x 500 gold with 2 players selected randomly from the winners of each question.

5 x 1600955094100.png for those who achieve all 3 correct or if there are more than 5 winners then I will do an extra hard decider question. If there are less than 5 then those who reach the closest to the correct calculation will win.

Competition ends 10am London time on 30th.

Replies to questions:

1. You can only use each number once.
2. It is not supposed to be easy with such awesome prizes.
3. The end date is 30th at 10am
4. You have to use all the numbers shown - you cant use less.
5. Yes it is fine to use brackets but its up to you.
6. Only 5 can win so if there are more there will be a difficult decider and we go from there - the 6x500 is random for participation so its worth having a go at them all.
7. The answers will be posted on 30th and the 6 random winners announced. At that point if there are more than 5 with 3 correct ans then those players get a chance at an extreme difficulty. If theres still more than 5 probably we pick randomly but it depends on the numbers.
8. Yes you can use parenthesis like: (10+3)/7


To submit an entry hit reply - you cant see it but I can. It is just that you dont want anyone else seeing your answers.

What is the calculation required to achieve 8263? Every number must be used but only once:

ONLY players listed above are eligible. Numbers are 31,75,13,7,33,12,2 and 56.

Contest closed - there are too many still so I will have to pick at random. Will post winners tomorrow as I am checking all entiries here and quite honestly some are so complex i need a 2nd opinion!

This is the answer but there are lots of different combinations:
(99+41+16+6+27+2+622-101)*13 =9256
