Hello all, welcome to the second issue of Athens Weekly, your alternative newspaper.
This is a special issue, as after this the issues will fall into weekly patterns.

We start Tuesday's edition with Nightmares of Elysium, who are currently number 1 in Athens.
NmE- Lots To Live Up To
When Nightmares of Elysium joined Athens, everyone knew they had a lot to live up to. Previous NmE's have dominated servers, and to tarnish their name would be a big mistake. NmE are currently #1 in points, ABP and DBP. I asked a senior figure inside Nightmares to comment.
So, NmE seem contented with their progress so far, but time will tell how successful this alliance will be.

Do you think NmE are living up to their reputation so far?
Yes, just take a look at our Battle points, top spot by a long shot and 2nd highest average out of the top performing alliances. If you want to see how we stack up to other alliances I will writing a new top 12 shortly that analysis our positions compared to other alliances, I go of stats, there are facts there. Nightmare doesn't have to brag about our accomplishments we can let the stats do that for us.

I wanted to get back into the game in a fresh world and see what I could put together starting from scratch, so far it's been fun.
What are your targets?
Our targets are anybody and everybody in 54.
Where do you see your alliance in 2 months?
I'd say we should be neck and neck with NmE, expanded well outside our ocean.
Are you pleased with your progress so far?
Hell yeah, and it's all thanks to the great members here, we have a lot of good players here, we will grow very fast.

How would you say NmE are going at the minute?
I think NmE are doing pretty great at the moment. Experienced players and a very strong relationship with some players which most alliances lack at this stage. people are calling us a MRA but little do we care as we are 1# In average points and ABP, and don't see that about to slow down any soon. In my opinion second best I've been in except Project Venom. If NmE carry on they will surely be dominant in the future, but like everything the future is unpredictable. Overall an alliance not to be messed with in my eyes, been ganged up on and yet still a fair bit ahead, at one stage 4 alliances attacking them, Two have merged together and doing any means possible to slow us down.
How is NmE coping with their numerous wars?
NmE are coping very well in my eyes, again with the Experienced players and very strong relationship with some players are proving very very useful when been in numerous wars. Also been clever and not wasting all troops at once and always having something for backup again is becoming a strength towards us, If we lacked them I dont thing NmE would be here, Expecially when 4 alliances ganged up on us (SHIELD, Virus Elite, Viking Warlords and Angels of Death.
