Best O64 Alliance?

PG is disbanding. Lord Colon is leaving for DoA.

So my question is this:

If you were in Ocean 64 what alliance would you want to join.

It seems like the two major options are The Huns and Disciples of Ares. I'd like to know your thoughts on both, for and against them.

Can't post an un-biased answer, but it really depends.

If you choose DoA, you probably won't be accepted immediately but be put through initiation in IoA.

Huns, you'll probably be background-checked and let in; I know that they've taken some refugees from multiple skirmishes. However, if you're inactive, you'll be kicked.

Huns have disbanded, there is a huge vacuum of power now to be taken by new alliances. I would recommend DoA.

I'm biased but in O64 DOA will be a better bet. We are significantly larger than our allies The Huns in this Ocean and we are also by far the strongest alliance in O54 next door.

The thing with DoA, though, is while DoA is proabably the strongest force in O54 and O64, just because you want to be DoA doesn't mean you will be. You'll be put in IoA until you prove yourself, which could potentially take a while.
