BP Boosting Modification

Summary: a change to how the BP percentages work to avoid exploitation of the feature.
Description: Even with the lower percentage of BP gain from allys/pacts people still found a way to exploit bp boosting... which is ruining the game entirely. A suggestion would be anyone leaving a ally for BP boost or gain should not be able to receive 100% of the BP untill 48 hours after they leave the alliance. As for dissolving pacts for BP they should not be able to get 100% BP untill 5 days after the pact is dissolved because people are doing that too. BP boosting is a very underhand tactic borderline cheating that is ruining the game we need a fix.
Reason: To prevent most people from getting an advantage over other players that they wont be able to get via purchase or through skill. It is also a underhand and dirty tactic people are using to exploit.

idk mate, pacts can turn into wars literally over night. Also what if player get kicked because of breaking alliances rules? Does alliance have decreased BP too? btw you know this will not happen, that's to much work for grepo devs :D

This (like the current system) just makes it slightly more cumbersome to boost, but still far from impossible.

You are only stopping 'casual' boosting (eg. people who want to kill off units to convert, etc, etc), but this won't affect hardcore boosters. They can easily find ways around this.

In effect - just like the previous update, you are not affecting players who are actively abusing this flaw in game design. It is only affecting players who do it occasionally for good reasons.

The issue itself is deeply rooted in how this game is designed. The construct of an alliance is just that for the most part. There are no particular incentives to forming one or deterrent against working with players not in your ally (exception being alliance participation events and endgame).

With this in mind - it is theoretically impossible to truly differentiate actual battles (what people consider to be 'real' BP) and fake battles (what people consider to be 'fake' BP).

---------------------------------------

Now it is clear that in addition to BP reduction on friendly fire, these non-existent incentives and deterrents need to be introduced to the alliance model in this game (which sounds like and IS a lot of effort!).

Another thing that can be done is reduce the value BP has in this game. Perhaps another way of generating slots which has equal or better value. Then 'BP boosting' won't be the method of choice for gaining slots. This would require something creative (and something thoroughly tested to make sure it doesn't create more flaws), which sounds like a lot of time and effort to implement that Inno won't invest into the game.

Maybe I'm wrong. But until then, I see no reason as to why it cannot be a viable strategy to gain CP.

A good start would be to completely get rid of Heightened Senses and Divine Senses. It's usually when one of these is active that players will boost BP, and taking them away also makes building units specifically to boost way less effective, as currently people stack them up until somebody uses a token and kills them all

but that would lose inno money :(, they make a fair bit from those 80 dollar packs including 20 x heightened senses etc

Ahaha and then we now see why it's extremely hard to come up with a implementable solution when many will remove a reason for a lot of players to buy stuff.

Or a detection system of people joining and leaving alliance for BP gains... and making it a bannable offense, most likely 3 day unattackable

Thanks for reading my post and understanding the heart of the problem.

Your suggestions will only make things worse.
