Bug Diagnostic Guide
EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM?

In order for us to help you, we will ask you to try some easy steps to help find the root cause of the problem.

Step 1
CHECK KNOWN BUGS

First check the known bugs list which contains a list of all the know bugs within the game, if you find your problem listed here you do not need do anything else about it. We are already aware of the problem and actively working on a fix for it. If you do not see your problem listed on here then please move on to Step 2.

Step 2
CLEAR YOUR CACHE

The first of which would be to clear your browsers cache. The browser cache stores files locally so that websites can be loaded faster. It is often the case that these files can become out of date, (especially after core update, or a hotfix) for example when something in the game code changes. For this reason, most simple problems can be cured by clearing your browsers cache. If you are unsure on how to clear your browser cache, you can find more information here

Step 3
TRY A DIFFERENT BROWSER

The next step is that we request you try an alternative browser. Grepolis is optimised for the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. Please try to download the latest version of both of these browsers to see if the problem persists. This is a very important step to help us determine what the problem is.

Step 4
TRY A DIFFERENT COMPUTER

Our next option is to attempt to isolate the problem to one particular computer or machine. We request that you try to play Grepolis from another device, computer or laptop.

Step 5
TRY A DIFFERENT CONNECTION

While not the most common cause of problems sometimes routing issues can be the cause of a game issue, this is caused by your computer not being able connect to the game whereas another use can fine.

We appreciate this isn’t always possible but we request you to try a play the game from another connection be it friend/neighbours house or internet café.

POST IN FORUM


If you have got this far and you are unable to solve your problem we request you post in report a bug section of the forum, we are not online all day everyday so getting a response will not be instant.
