An ode to Grepolis
Forum users rejoice! For the time to vote for Chi's Poet Champion has arrived! It is likely that most of you are unaware that this competition was running on Chi Forums so here is the task they were set
The Task
To ceate a small simple poem using the following guidelines
It must be related to grepolis in some way
It must use an Acrostic poetic structure using the word 'Grepolis'
It must not be insulting in any way
It can be Funny
It can be about a moderator/senior/Manager (if your brave enough)
It can be about an alliance as long as its nice
It can be about a player as long as its nice
The Competition ran from 24th/07 until 29th/07 and we have selected our personal favourites for you to vote for
. All submissions have been Anonymous so it is as fair as it can be for you to pick a favourite based on quality rather than users popularity!

I would like to say a personal thank you to all who have submitted a poem and brought the moderators involved a lot of laughs. We appreciate all input to the forums and we hope you have enjoyed taking part!

avenous warmongers imposing our wrath.

Reaping destruction on shores.
Extravigant wonders fill the cores,
Players all fighting so lock your doors.
Oceans to part the weak and the strong
Looks like everythings gone pete tong!

Relaxing worlds, from alpha to chi.
Every day
People play.
Outstanding alliances unite,
Lots are falling during the night.
It's an amasing game,

Really, it's something you should appreciate.
Eating while gaming is what it's all about.
Please you know it's true, there's zero doubt.
Of course accidents could happen so be very careful,
Like spilling a drink, so better be prayerful!

Relived by players seeking thrills,
Each one vying for islandic dominion,
Praying to Deities, they make supplication.
