City Conquered But Can't Change Name

I have taken a city and was notified of 24 hr. waiting time, this came and went, and I unfortunately deleted the report. Now I can't get the City up on my overview to change the name or control it. Any one any Ideas PLEASE.

ok sounds like you colonized it and not conquered, so after 24hr waiting period it will show up as geordiebob city (if thats your game name).
