Ever had a colour sketch that looks really good but you can't use it because... well it looks like a sketch, well youve found the place to transform it into something that looks nice (Lightness, saturation may change, these aspects can be adjusted)
It's very simple actually, first scan the picture in. (I found this pic on the internet)
Make 6 layers of the image (yes six, it works with less and it looks better with more but 6 is good)They must be the same image. Name the layers according to there position (The original layer should be named one and at the bottom of the pile)
Your layers should have an order like this

5)10
4)15
3)20
2)20
1)20
Now we'll see it transform
Gaussian Blur layers 1-3 with a blur radius of 20
Gaussian Blur layer 4 with a blur radius of 15
Gausian Blur layer 5 with a blur radius of 10
Gausian Blur layer 6 with a blur radius of 5
(If you are doing more layers you should always start with a strong base, 2 or 3 layers with the same blur radius and then you should work your way down in radius by the same number each time until you get as low as you can go ie. without going into negative numbers)
Set layers 2-4 on Multiply Mode
Set layers 5-6 on Overlay mode
Add a new layer with the picture on it except the picture should be in black and white. Set that layers opacity to 50% and put it on Overlay mode.
Now it should be a somewhat usable sketch
