Nobody denies Inno it's right to earn money from it's product - everybody knows that, we are not dumb!
I won't even talk about the fact that marketing is abusing the word free - it's disrespectful to free games, this is micro transaction based product.
What I'm talking about is that this game has become the champion of 'pay to win' type of games.
It's like a scheme to earn quick cash. New worlds are opening days apart from one another. New players are added to the new worlds. There are no player base to cover all those worlds so 'old' worlds become ghosts worlds with 1k active players at the most. To Inno the world is most profitable at start, they are deliberately ruining their own game to earn more quick cash. It's disrespectful to players who invest their time and money. I'll even go that far to say its a fraud!
In game you can buy everything. For a competitive game the amount of abuse premium features give you is game breaking. Grepolis has become a fake game.
Why don't I quit then? Well, I will quit eventually and I suspect every other self respecting player will do too. It's just that we all like the core gameplay of grep and hope that the developer will come to its senses and see that it can earn money from the quality of it's product not by doing what ever this disgusting thing is.
