In addition to the General Forum Rules, the following rules will also apply to this section:

  • Anything deemed politically extreme, pornographic, illegal, or unsavory in any way is prohibited.
  • Racist or ethnic bashing comments are forbidden even if used in jest.
  • Comments that play down the use of illegal drugs or promote the use of said substances are strictly forbidden.
  • Religious discussions are allowed in this section, but will be treated with caution. Special care will be taken here to ensure good debate formalities.
  • Decisions made by a Titan or above are final, there is no right to appeal.
  • 'Limited' debates and discussions can be closed without notice and will only be open for a maximum of 1 month.
  • Once a debate is 'Closed', there will be no further debates on that topic. Choose wisely.
  • An 'Open' debate may be changed to 'Limited' without notice, and will be treated as such.
  • Usage of this section is governed by a 3 Strikes policy, and admission to this section can be terminated without notice.
  • The 1st Strike will be a Warning. The 2nd Strike will be an Infraction. The 3rd Strike will be an Infraction with perma-points and will result in loss of access to this section.

Addendum to the Rules:
  • No excessive use of punctuation marks.
  • No excessive use of smilies.

Failure to accept these rules will cause you to lose your access to this forum.

i agree to every rule posted except this (Anything deemed politically extreme) how are we meant to identify the type in which it would be deemed extreme, um afraid i think an example might be needed because politics its self spans to most of our daily lives.

Okay no punctuation marks and no smiles in fact I will make one big run on sentence without any hyphens periods commas or apostrophes and hopefully people will still be able to read this.

Anyways, how many smiles would be considered excessive? Such as when it would be inappropriate to use any emoticons?

Debate and Discussion Rules updated. Update deals with Religious debates - they are now allowed, but will be kept with special care and attention.

What constitutes as "playing down"?
What constitutes something as an illegal drug?

Does this mean it is perfectly acceptable to downplay and/or promote the usage of legal drugs?

I'll look into the extent of what that rule goes into and get back to you ;)

I also want to ask "What constitutes something as an illegal drug?" and by the rules of which government will this forum obey. Also if we stick to a specific government drug rules will we stick to its religion rules too - or we will take rules from where we see fit.
Also what we do with some drugs which are listed illegal, while still used in legal pharmacy companies and doctors?
Are we not allowed to discuss legal treatments as many illegal listed drugs are widelly used in small dosages legally for medical reasons?
What will we do with drinks and foods too, which depending on where or when produced may or may not contain illegal substances?
How will a religion talk be constituted inappropriate - who will judje if it is a constructive criticism for example and what rules will be considered?

Still nailing down what actually constitutes as an illegal drug, but here are some answers to the one non-drug-related question:

Religious discussion will be deemed inappropriate if forum rules are breached. If the thread is thought to be beyond a point where it can become civil (at moderator discretion), it will be closed and the specific topic be ineligible to be discussed at a later point.

I should have the drug related answers relatively soon.

You might want to check that link to the general rules. This is what I'm getting when I click on it.

The link probably wasn't changed. The forum url was changed from forum.grepolis.net to forum.en.grepolis.com as more servers were added.
