Do i need soldiers?

I have Barrack level 5 but i still don't have any soldiers. Do i really need it and how can i do it?

No seriously, just click on barracks and you will see a picture of swordsmen there with a number underneath depending on how many u can build with ur resources, simply click the tick to put them in the build que

After you do that, every time you ask yourself "Do I need more troops/ships?" The answer is always yes.

This is a war game, you need a means of fighting to survive.

No obviously without troops it is better because people will steal all your resources and conquer your city.

troops are a very bad thing, they take up population space so you cant build everything and gets your points up. So you shouldnt build any troops, and pm me when your city reaches about 10000 points k =)
