Tau will not take part in the Easter event as the goodies from the event will unbalance the world in the startup phase. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I guess that anyone who would start in a few days would have a big disadvantage.
A shame though, in this world the goodies would have been really useful.

i think that's how. the stuff would have been far more useful to us just starting out than in older worlds. so it's not really balance within tau, but balance between worlds (i think?)
500 wood in xi was pretty much nothing, but 500 wood in tau could be pretty massive! and thats not to mention the hops and chariots *drools*
