Wish List Endgame: Persian Invasion

Proposal: To make a new endgame called persian invasion (the greek's main enemies)

Reason: Current endgame is not enjoyed

Details: After the required amount of world points is reached a new city will appear on each big island (instead of the WW site). This town will be fully upgraded with a constand +10% defence bonus, full of DLU (20k) and a level 25 Wall w/ Tower. The aim for all alliances is to conquer 50 of those cities, however DLU will regenerate at a rate of 1k a day it will be possible to support those towns with any mythical units. A special unit will be needed to conquer the town, this unit wil be called the 'Diplomat', it will have the same stats as a CS yet it will be only by land and only unlockable once persian era starts. A 37th academy level will be available once the era opens and that is where you will find the diplomat.

questions:
1. all myth types/ gods in one city?
2. you not only try to take your 50 but defend cities from other alliances?
3. once a city is "taken" if that city yours/ your alliance's or must you continue to fight for it? or is it yours forever, no take backs?
4. (have no idea as not a coder) with the average number of ww/ persian islands being X, an alliance needing 50 to win, Y being the number of alliances that might go for the end game, if the answer to #4 is "it's yours forever", might there be no winner?
5. must an alliance "own" the island of the city?
6. do all persian towns generate the same 1k dlu, is it random, is it based on the island resources?
7. why no units by sea?

i got a 1000 more but...
it's an idea

1. Possible to support with any myth
2. You're only trying to get 50 but you can get DBP and help yourself by supporting other persian forts on enemy islands
3. Yours for good, goes to the alliance as a taken fort

all sounds good
still not sure if enough islands (#4) but an idea that shouldn't take SOOOO much work that inno shouldn't consider
there's still profit for them, generating attack/ olu buffs in the end game
and it's more fighting than resource driven so players should be happy
again, we'll see what the masses say

Not a bad idea... but maybe a few tweaks to it... instead of 1000 DLU in each city... and god units of any god...

Why not have the city stocked with "Persians" as a unit type... they could be a strong defensive unit something similar to the current "Divine Envoy"...

Then, in place of myth units, they have "Immortals", which can be added to a city by any other alliance at the cost of 500 faith of any god... these units can be 500/500/500 defence so damn hard to kill...

As for the 50 cities... I would probably come up with a formula that says something like you have to control 20 or 25% of the captured forts after the first 50 are taken... that would make it viable for all alliances to compete for it... and use the immortals to help block each other...

I think it would work well... each fort would be landlocked, it would start with 1 POP value 50000 of these Persians 20/20/20 defence units... that gives them 1,000,000 points of damage, which would mean even if every city on the island was completely full of Erinya's you could not take the fort in a day... and you make it they grow their depleted numbers at a rate of 5% of remaining troops per day, to the max of 50,000... immortals are extra and limitless... and a fort under attack has a lit torch on it till its conquered... So others know which fort to re-inforce with immortals... I would just add the diplomat in slot 4 of the level 36 academy (it could have a secondary purpose too... that they could negotiate a peaceful takeover of farming villages not yet conquered, especially if it costs 20k of each resource to build)...and once conquered it should provide a bonus similar to that of a world wonder... but less powerful... EG: 25% increase in strength of all units from this island, 100% increase in island resource production etc... you chose from 2 available options when the diplomat lands...so everyone has to live with the person who landed the diplomats choice...
