Unlike Evolution, we not only support our players but give them a place to learn Mordath. This was a learning opportunity for Bildo. Kind of like how the lion brings a small animal back so the cubs can start learning how to hunt and kill. Bildo learned a lot of lessons that no amount of words can teach.
Was it frustrating watching him flounder? Absolutely. A few times, I felt like sending in a few thousand light ships and a few nukes to just take you down but that wasn't going to help him. Now, he has a much better appreciation for the game. You lost a city (no big deal) and earned some great defensive BP (a net gain for you) because he was inefficient in his attacks. However, we just gained a player who is going to be MUCH smarter the next time he attacks.
Our alliances have grown our own players and recruited small players we are committed to helping become better players. It's an investment I am sure you can't appreciate. A month ago, I was bildo. I'll be happy to let you see what a little time and the support and education of people like Gabi, BBCue, Ceno, Syliss and others have done for my playing ability.
Oh, that's right. You're in vacation mode. Worst of all, one of our little cubs helped put you there. Better hope one of the big cats doesn't catch you when you get back. Heck, you better hope Bildo doesn't catch up with you as his skills improve and yours don't.
