Founders going ghost?

If a founder of an alliance goes ghost before they transfer their rights on to someone else in the alliance, what happens to the alliance?

Do the founder rights automatically get transfered on to the other leaders or does the alliance get disolved?

I know you're not asking this for your alliance, but if you were you'd put in a support ticket. The alliance has a vote on who takes over and then moderators can assign the founder rights to that person.

Might not work exactly like that but pretty close.

It happened to me on this world actually. It assigns founder rights to the second oldest member I believe

i've tried asking a question about it with a ticket and keep being told to go elsewhere for an answer.
thanks for the answers though, will let me buddy know :) he'll be delighted to wait in limbo lol.
