Answered founding a new city

I was founding a new city and still have 10 hrs left when my city was conquered. It show all day the count down when it was over I did not get the city it return to an open spot. Why If it was already started it should not matter consider it is two different island?

Did you refresh your browser during that time? If you are conquered... ALL commands sent from that city are cancelled. That includes supports, trades, attacks, city foundations, sieges, etc..
