Gandalf of Course, while Gandalf died (and ressussitated as a "white" mage) fighting a monster in the mines of moria, Dumbledore was killed by Snape!!! No too smart huh.

Actually Dumbledore arranged his own death, he would have died anyway if snape hadn't killed him at Dumbledores request but Gandalf the White still wins even though Dumbledore is great too.

Dumbledore barely fought, and then he died by request. Gandalf went to war on Halifax in just about every battle on LOTR.

although of course Dumbledore was great enough to have the elder wand so he obviously fought a lot when he was younger but we don't get any description on that in the movies or books.

Gandalf the White. I mean, come on. Dumbledore is stuck in a castle teaching kids, while Gandalf is defeating 3000 year old evil and banishing balrogs. They both died once, but only Gandalf came back.
