Shades of the 60s! Goins are you a ex-hippie you are into "vintage music?" Once one of my favorites (it competed with hazy shade of winter) I haven't thought about the song in years.

Hello forums, my old friend
I've come to read from you again
Because a post was surely creeping
Left its seems while I was sleeping
And the last post that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the forums of silence

In restless dreams I post alone
In forums where I see no one home
'Neath the halo of cigar smoke
I clicked on the forums, what a dope
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of another post
That split the time
And touched the forums of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing posts that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the forums of silence

"Fools", said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my posts, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed
In the forums of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the god their city made
And the mod flashed out his warning
In the words that it was forming
And the mod said, "The words of the posted are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the forums of silence

Love me some good ol' American hippie music, and the British invasion groups. Only thing different now is I have outgrown the "puff puff pass" years ;)
