If you try to trade anything for a ratio other than 2000 resources for 50 gold it is not permitted. This is preventing competition in the market. For example, I want to offer 4000 resources for 95 gold, saving a trade partner 5 gold for the increased trade.

The amount of resources is always fixed at 2000 and the minimum gold price is 50 gold per 2000. You can sell resources at 2000 for 50, 55, 200 gold but can't adjust the resources. It's not a bug.
