Haiku Thread?

Idk if this is on here already. I looked briefly and could have swore we had a poem tab or something. I would like to start a haiku thread. They are easy. Brief. And may or may not be inspiring who really knows?

Watching Toad sitting,
One may pause in wonderment,
To consider his thoughts

I'm no pro at this maybe it's incorrect. Just wanted to share. Thanks

Yeah I wrote the haiku on fb through my phone. I realize it wasn't correct. I edited it to the correct structure.

is it the middle that must be longer

I'm aware of that. Just something I was messing around with and didn't have pen and paper or keyboard. And I have a buzz. Don't really feel like trolling today.

a simple correction on structure and maybe a genuine attempt at one to share would have been sufficient.

This thread is rhuined. The one time I try poetry.... I'm not going to share any future attempts here

and pebble said the Lit section couldn't be cured, with Double O spam on the job it can.

My friend, I did real attempts of Haiku. I absolutely had no idea how to write one. ;)

Anyway, an other one:

Dogs playing on the lawn,
birds singing in woods full of life,
it is a beautiful day.

That ok?
