well, tell us what you're doing and we can tell you what you're doing wrong :p

in general i'd right-click on the picture i want to post and click on "copy image url" and then go to my alliance forums and click the image button (which puts in the tags) and then paste the url inbetween those tags.

e.g.
[noparse][IMG]http://forum.de.grepolis.com/grepolis/smiley/icon_10_v2.png[/noparse]
=

Okay try this :

Get the image of the internet and save it. Then goto http://tinypic.com and upload it onto that then copy the url that says for forums and message boards.
Hope it helps,

Did you try what I suggested tinypic tends to work best. If not give me the url of the pic and I will load it up for you and give the URL.

The link Pythagorus provided me with was not the correct link. You are attempting to post the image which is linked to this page:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/221/mapssrd.png/

To the right of the image is 'Links to share this image' and one address shows 'Direct link'.

You are attempting to put image tags around a web page which contains more than just an image. As such, it displays nothing because it does not know which image to use.

You need an imageshack account (free) to get direct links.

PS:

This was the right answer ;)
did you copy the direct image link, you could be posting the wrong link
