I always wondered when I was little if "Colour" was a typo. And lol, my spell-checker is saying it's spelled incorrectly.

The 'English' and Americans have two completely different dialects. Yes our words are similar but there are different expressions used and so forth. Slang has changed the two languages

Meh... Americans destroying my forced mother tongue. Ugh... :p

What is with the ' ' around English? I hope it wasn't to suggest sarcasm because that would be simply stupid. The ' ' should be around American because that is merely a dialect if anything.

Chuir sin an clamhan gobhlach am measg nan cearc.

Allow me to demonstrate the different dialects of English:

American:
-Uses simplified spellings
Choice of slang:
-Involves object's mother and/or lots of genitals.

British:
-Origin of English.
-Takes spelling seriously
Choice of slang:
-Involves lots of blood.
-Fun words like "sod" and "ruddy" are also used.

Chinese: (Chinglish)
-All words are translated directly.
Choice of slang:
-Basic.
-The F-word and the S-word, nothing special.

Chinglish is hilarious! Love it to bits.

Other dialects of english include:
- Cockney
- Geordie example... Y'aareet? ahm from Newcassel
- Scots example... Grepolis is an odd gam. Ah ne'er got th' jist ay it so ah didnae.
- Glaswegian example... Ahm fae the toon sae i'll slash ye one ya mad nugget!

If you ever meet somebody with a die hard glaswegian accent. Just nod and pretend you understand until the get "wide" on you e.g. Either "wide" up to them or run fae your life. :p

Singlish is something as well. End every sentence with -la.

18 days is a Necro?
o_O

18 days is like dusting the dirt off the body.

Anyway, I speak and read American, passable English, and some Spanish, in a Caribbean Dialect, I'm pretty sure.
