Hydra killed ground units

I thought Hydra is just like 5 Light Ship that can kill only sea unit. But in one of my attack today, it killed land units also along with sea units. Is this a bug or an expected behaviour?

Yes, I sent Hero Atlanta. Is that the reason? Then does sending hero with LS also kills ground troops?
