I am an African.

It is this land that completes me.

I was born of this soil,

And when I die, I will complete it.



There is nothing like her splendour.

Her sweet waters, quenches our thirst.

The sun shining on me,

It burns me clean.



I am an African.

It is here where I was made.

‘Tis not my colour that defines me,

but the heart that beats within me.



Africa, nature's way of showing off.

This is what could be,

this is what is possible.

This is Life.



I am an African.

My brother is my brother

And together we shall stand,

On this land, our Africa.
