Taking a city off an active player (or team) is what it should all be about, that’s the fun. Timing same second or -1 anti snipes, having the crack on skype with your team mates as they line up in front of your CS. Good hearted banter with your opponent as you try to psych each other out. Knowing that you won that city by outsmarting one of your peers on that specific battle.

That is what used to give me a buzz out of grepo.

Perhaps all good things really do have to come to an end sooner or later?

I guess you never lined up on an active enemy... you know, by timing and not being lazy? Instead of ruining your opponent's gameplay experience because you can't catch them offline..... food for thought.
Nah ray, kadj is an outstanding player, he's definitely taken cities off of online players. He was the master mind behind the noots taking LegionC's city while she was online early this server.

Happy to know that. But still begs the question: why are so many players fixated in drawing players offline by means of spam? When the true skill of the game is in going head to head with an active enemy, and put in the effort and skill to overpower them. Or fail trying.... which is fine too... and then try again. Just seems for many ppl, in CQ at least, the goal is to drive a player to turn their alarm off first, then sneak a CS uncontested... or if that fails, spam them till they quit.

Ninja CS has only really become apparrent as world speed has increased. Speed 2 was once classed as the "fast" server. Unless someone is very inactive at speed 2, uncontested ninjas are next to impossible.. The best tactic in any war is troop conservation, whoever is better at that will win in the long run. A good assessment of how well you are doing at this is looking at your militia killed vs lost stat. If your kills are considerably higher than your losses, then you are not very good with troop conservation. If a player wants to burn many troops, knocing out large fortified stacks, then that is their choice. I reccomend a good book called "Art if War" by Sun Tzu, maybe youl'd learn something from it.
