Have seen grepolis websites whereby players can view the stats for other players in particular their on and off times, this is WRONG. Alliances are now using this to their advantage and attack members while they are offline taking their cities, it defeats the object of the game

Alliances should be made to judge other players movements and whereabouts, plan and co-ordinate attacks, hitting a player while he is online so that he can dodge, insert additional defence etc

Question
Is it right to have this thread showing the players on and off periods

These sites aren't managed by innogames. They Are unofficial, third-party websites, managed by unofficial third parties.

Whether or not it's "right" to use players offline times against them, There's nothing inno can do about these third-party sites. Even if they were to, alliance members would still find players offline times.

Because of the bonuses currently granted to defenders, it's completely "Right" anyway to do this, since it's the only way to take cities(Basically). Even if you hit a player while they're offline, Many alliances implement what's called a Tripwire system, which even takes away from the bonus of hitting someone when they're offline.

Ive never really seen the problem with that, as they are very inaccurate and only show real information for semi-active players who only log in once or twice a day, when it comes to high-level players its completely worthless information.. not to mention online times don't really mean much with the phone app at hand. Even if a player is regularly offline, he or she will be back the instant that annoying sound goes off.
