I'm Irish so I'll definitely be getting drunk :D

How pretty my city looks at nightime - and they're still celebrating my new city gift so there's dancing in the square. Join me in the festivites and have some rum and egg nog. Merry Christmas to all of you. May your next year be a happy and peaceful one!

For those of another bent...

"Merry Christmas to all!"
the jolly old elf in red said,
And he warned us he'd be watching,
while we slept in our bed.

But my wife smiled up at him,
and with a twinkling in her eye,
told him, "My menorah is lit,
and the 6th night draws nigh."

I chuckled at his confusion,
and in spite of myself,
said to him, "I celebrated Yule,
with no reindeer or elf."

I continued, "Fear not though Santa,
for Christian, Pagan, or Jew,
we all celebrate peace,
so Merry Christmas to you too."

Not my best poem, but hey, not too bad considering I just made it up on the spot...:p

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Yule, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Boxing Day, and Happy Holidays in general.

May you all know peace and love during this most special of seasons.
