In the end, this is only but a silly game that will be forgotten in 10 to 20 years. However we only have one life, and when a life ends it can change the lives connected to that life forever.

I never knew Mkmurphy personally, and I am sure that he was a great person. My highest condolences to his family, and friends who must be beside themselves in grief. My highest condolences also to the members of Krypteia, you guys knew him better than I, and as such are suffering far greater than I.

I offer a war poem by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, from May 3 1915 in the aftermath of the Second Battle of Ypres.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing,
fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
