I noticed the graphics change for night time. Do defenders get a bonus in this world during night time?
I don't think they do, I believe this is purely for visual purposes. I mean the cities at night are so pretty

Yes this is for visual reference only. They are only set to go to night vision when the "Server" time is at night. So doesnt matter what time it is where your at.. only matters where the time is in Germany.
I inquired about this last night when it came into effect and thats the answer I got. There is no night bonus for defenders at this juncture...

cool, so are the night shifts permanent? I thought this was done as some sort of Xmas special.

Idk but I hope so, looks nice

As far as I know at this time the shifts are permanent... at least till it conflicts with new coding then it might be re-evaluated
