How can you say that when there is a guy who ended bp with 10 cities when we end it with 4-5. LOL.
There is a difference between spamming gold like an ape and using it with brain to increase the efficiency.
Also without golders free to play ones couldnt even think about playing grepo.

leaving what happened, the alliance which is the first(The Spirit of Nutz),it can be seen that most of them use gold, while the other players may not be able to afford it, the game is no longer called a serious; strategy!!! What kind of strategy does the alliance have, if with a few money in minutes you can make a full attack, sending revolts, and just wait to send the ship ..not interesting at all!???

Nowadays use gold in grepolis is not a marginal thing as ANYONE can farm gold for free. If you dont have gold to play, is because you dont check the market because it is empty 90% of the time in early game (first 2 weeks).
Stop writing here and check ur market more often, you will be surprised about how many gold u can earn.

Moral of the story you can't stop anyone from using gold. The gold users are actually keeping this game afloat no matter how you look at it. The only solution is to start using gold yourself.

You got to be kidding. What amount of gold you talking about on market? Have you been ingame,? This basically made for players like ae in nuts with deep pockets, for the rest of the players they can go and play somethimg else. Its the reason why this game born dead.

First 2 weeks of EVERY server you can make around 10-20k gold EASY if you constantly check the market. Im a F2P player so I can say that because its the way I make gold and use it on my servers.
Also there are 200%offers that gives you 9000 gold for 20 bucks, 9000 gold for a normal player is like...2 full servers? 20 bucks for 2 servers that are probably 8 months long, 4 months each.
So if we talk about money waste per year we are talking about... 30 bucks per year? If you cant handle 30 bucks per year u broke and u dont need to be here but finding work. Anyways, if you are F2P player, join every server first weeks, market 30 and check each 30 min it. You will make like I say, around 10-20k first month.
Also if you found 1 city per principal ocean 55-54-44-45, you will have that gold earning x4. Now you have the tips to farm gold, its on you using it or still crying.

I always have gold, but only for the advisors +5 extra inventory space thats all. So its not about spending 20 bucks. Playing against players like in the allience mentioned above requires serious amount of gold and nobody can keep up with it

I don't agree with you sorry... nutzs are my friends and mates and most of them don't use a lot of gold... maybe a couple, maybe on ops, maybe on early game... but idk, not abusing it. That's my opinion but ofc I'm with them so maybe could change watching it from outside.

you are right because I used the same strategy on another world but not everyone is focused on it, at the alliance level to collaborate together would work but not everyone knows what you are saying. Referring to what Sytix mentioned, it's not about keeping an eye on the market for hunting gold, just the idea of playing only with gold, which is crazy to be able to use the same boost all the time...

I started this world like one month later, so i cant tell you, but i remember when i started other world year ago straight is opened, i got revolted soon as bp ended by an army full stack of olu inc light ships 10+ medusa and i was like wtf ? I sent the report to theirleader claiming hat they can only do this with golding alot, he replied that is not even a big army... I mean not after the first week? Its only possible if you spend plenty of gold and i dont know maybe thats true that anyone can earn a same amount of gokdfor resources to keep that pace, but i hardly beleive it. I cannot think anything else about nuts too, they are much more advanced than the rest and not because theyre that good, they must have lots of gold

Festivals 4 times per day, in 20-25 cities is literally slot per day. First off learn to play, then try the mechanic and then, if you are not able to be on top... idk, 15? at least? ask if we are using gold.
The answer is easy, gold olympics to open first 10-15 slots, then just festivals in each city, 3-4 times per day. We open slot per day just with festivals, now, add all the culture attacking-deffending. Is not that difficult to understand... you just have to know how the game mechanics works.
Remember we are top 1 attacker alliance, top 2 deff alliance, and top 1 fighters. Top 15 fighters are our players, top 15 attackers are our players... its not all about gold but knowking how this game works.
