No gold world

I mean everytime I come back to grepo and check forums there will defo be no gold stuff discussions.

I’m f2p myself but by gold trading always have like 10-20k gold any server I join and that’s more than enough for proper playing, like advisors, golding some stuff for sniping, events or something like that. Ofc you won’t compete with dudes who literally spam gold and plus some stay IG for whole days, but I have absolutely no problem with that, cuz they are the ones making this game still alive. Inno isn’t charity organization, unless they hit whatever their min targeted income is they won’t keep this game alive just cuz we like it. And don’t forget it’s not 1 v 1 game, we all play in teams and good team play can always make it way much easier and enjoyable.

PS: you can defo make 10k gold a server with ease. For example new world which started 2 days ago I have already earned 2.5k gold and I haven’t even got 2nd city in other ocean. Personally I preferred old gold trading system, since it required way much less effort but still it’s very possible to earn good amount of gold by some effort.

Only topic about which we should keep complaining is playerbase and maybe there is solution to increase it somehow, so lets switch topic I guess lol.

world without gold, entry for a pay and perhaps old players will return to such a server

if the entry was 5-10$ i dont know how many players would be willing to join the world in the first place, and for that system to be profitable for Inno to spin up 1 server to run that world it would need like 3-8k players to pay to play to come somewhere close to what top spenders these days spend for 1 single world...
this server is literally on last 1k players.. most new worlds get 400-600...

this is what their own dev team said..

3. Will we have one day a server without gold spending ? Or with a limited gold amount to spend at the beginning ?

Ans: We did surveys and then the math and unfortunately, it would not be a feasible option, the interest would not be high enough to be running a server profitably.

I often question the intentions of the developers of this game, is enormous lack of prudence in this aspect.

Certainly, the game would be more balanced if the gold exchange rate were adjusted, but what lies behind InnoGames’ reluctance to change this is a mystery as vast as the ocean in the shape of a star, i question.

I just started this rev world, until now I sold resources for 31 gold (in 7 separate trade).. since the market is always full, I think what Hyke was saying like "everyone can make 15-20k gold in the first two weeks is a bs.. you maybe can when you already have plenty gold to colonize in other oceans, maybe.. still it's all about spend money on gold to get advantage to earn more gold so more advantage, this is how I see I don't think I can make here 1000s of gold:)

And it's a main problem, "u can always use money", then we are not playing a game anymore
For getting 15-20k gold in 2 weeks, tbh it'll be hard to achieve on new world. From the world opening until now, I get like 6,7k golds so far(maybe I can only achieve 15-20k golds in 1-2 month if not lazy). But for me it's enough already to make sure my account have each advisors for 140 days ;)

That's good. But I willing to pay for advisors like in real life:)

No no 5-10, but in reality this system just generates more money

Ask them how much their real earnings this way maybe you will have no more question;)

You’d know about how much the top golders spend! I seen you in the US forum. What was it that your Russian friend spent!? Thing is now she doesn’t just gold she funds the alliance with pay app. Eventually the game will only be Golders. Inno won’t care for f2p if they don’t contribute to profits. It’s a business…
