The title says it all really,
There we were building ourselves up and suddenly no Alliance!
Any ideas on what happened people?

Couldn't it be that the founder of the ally has ended the excistens of it?

The alliance was closed due to other commitment, i would have thought the founder would have mass mailed you!!

Yes a mail would have been handy.
Or the opportunity to carry on regardless just because 'he' wanted to leave...

No - but there are lots of choices out there and some invites already
Still - a little disappointed at the suddenness? of it all
When I thought things were going so well within the alliance and all of that

From playing this game i recognise that it takes commitment - and maybe the 'founder' had too many commitments elsewhere -
but still he could have handed it all over..

it has already happened on this world, not harsh is a learning curve :cool:

No - he wouldnt have done that - that was done previously on another Alliance - so he learned that mistake - his bio now says - 'i have left this world'

Yeah well you would expect it from a small 'immature' alliance but this alliance was running quite well - or so it seemed.
It was 3rd or 4th in the rankings depending on the page you looked at

Well this is a chance for you to join another alliance and see how they work. Find a local alliance (in your ocean) with modest membership and see if they will take you on. These alliances have the best people to learn from and play Grepolis with.

Well thank you for all your replies and info.
I know that if players are on multiple worlds it can be very time consuming being online especially if they are very involved in the day to day running of alliances.
I was just a bit surprised at the suddenness of it all.

leadership takes commitment. a lot of "leaders dont have that. what ocean were u guys in? u can easily join The Great Spartan Army 2
