I finally got to the gold and found out the brews are not like favor or resources.
Apparently each prize can be taken as it is reached and doesn't subtract from your total.
Of course this could just be a clever ploy to convince you to waste a weeks worth of brewing just short of your golden goal... you decide.

Yeah bro wow I accidentally clicked It on the 1st day then told my alliance. Hope you got ur hard earned gold I only got to like 3 or 4 k resources but it sucks to suck
