out of game battle planner

I used to play in Kappa,
There I used an out of game tool: a battle planner.

Does anybody know what happened to it?
Is it still working? If so, can somebody post the link here?

The reason I’m asking, is because it's ridiculous to have to take premium for a battle planner.

From what I am aware there are not many around, the one that used to be around when V1 was about closed down.

I always find the best way is to make my own within Excel, as I don't like the game one. But then again I like it to do what i want ;)

Setting up a spreadsheet for it does always seem to be the easiest way. The in-game battle planner seems dreadfully complicated to me, while laying it out in excel is far neater and much simpler to understand.

You could also set up a shared spreadsheet (Google Docs?) if you need to co-ordinate a battle planner with friends/allies.

I prefer SkyDrive for sharing ;)

I also find sharing a OneNote Document with your Alliance on SkyDrive is an amazing way to plan ops.
