Honestly Inno, this game is all about using your wallet to conquer. The deeper your pockets, the farther you go.

Instant buy isn't the problem. Being able to build first cities fast has always been more restricted due to the resources needed. Players had to be super active to get to cs ready by the time bp ended, now with gold trading resources are more freely available which is causing the situation. Just vote with your feet.
