Dear community,
From April 27 to May 13 every active player* can cast their vote for their favorite candidates for the EN version of Grepolis.
Voting process
Once you open the voting menu, you will be presented with a short snippet on each candidate which links to their full introduction on the forums for additional review.
To vote for a player, you switch the radio button from “not selected” to “selected”. Up to 5 candidates can be selected in the same manner.
If you select more, the game will notify you about having reached the limit upon submitting your vote and you get the chance to adjust your selections accordingly. Should you wish to cast your vote for less than 5 candidates, this is obviously also possible by just selecting less. Once you have finalized your selection, you can confirm it by hitting “vote”. Please note that, after your final confirmation, your vote cannot be changed or reverted anymore. In case of you wanting to abstain from the voting altogether, just hit “abstain” and the voting window will be closed in the same manner.
Confirming candidates
Each language version needs to have at least 2 player council members confirmed through the voting process. If this minimal number cannot be reached, the respective version will unfortunately not be represented in the player council during the upcoming term. To confirm a candidate, they need to reach at least 5% of all votes.
Additionally, the amount of local council members is limited to 5 members at a time, meaning that the top 5 candidates with the most votes will become members. Should runner-up candidates pass the required threshold of all votes, they may potentially be promoted at a later point if one of the elected candidates drops out.
Should no candidate be elected in this manner, no local council will be formed. The same applies if less than 2 confirmed candidates accept the vote and confirm this with their Community Manager(s) upon request.
