Push Notification / No Alarm

Updates are client side, but they can be calling on something which should work, but doesn't from the android side.

I think you may have this all mixed up. After the app is installed on our computer, the game is partially client-side. It is not a stand alone game. Because Grepo is a multiplayer, real time game, the client app works off the Inno server. The updates to the app originate from Inno's server. But, for some reason, Inno did not update the app correctly for some of the newer Samsung phones. Maybe the new phones have a different feature in the notification software that is incompatible with the update?

It sucks that it is taking them so long to fix it. But just like the false mass attackable bans in the US worlds, where Inno devs did nothing to fix it, it looks like they dropped the ball on this as well. Players lose multiple cities that they paid money to CQ, yet Inno does nothing about their game errors.

It's hard to take this game seriously anymore. It's hard to spend any money on this game anymore either.

However said, it is something that should have been tested before the update was launched. The new Samsung phones should be part of the testing routine, but apparently, it was not. Those are very common phones and the lack of testing on them was the problem. Another problem is the length of time it is taking for the devs to fix it.
