You guys really are something special.
After the split, Nuts very quickly began coordinating with Benidorm and Just Fun. They themselves have stated that they were only receiving LTS support previously, yet we have screenshots clearly showing Benidorm and Just Fun support landing in almost every city we were taking from Nuts at that time. Benidorm and Just Fun together accounted for roughly 200 players; when you add Nuts and Krogs, that side totaled about 240 players.
At that point, Check Mate had 50 players, with no connection to either Heavy Metal or GreenBull. 50 versus 240 is a very different picture than the narrative of “20 Nuts players holding off 50 CM” that were being pushed, while conveniently ignoring that around 40 Nuts players were receiving support from a 200-player coalition.
Despite this, some Nuts players are still complaining that Check Mate later allied with other teams. The reality is that Nuts were the first to form external alliances, starting with Benidorm/Just Fun. Denying this while accusing us of “hugging the world” is not only misleading but also undermined by your own past and present actions. Even now, if you add up the numbers, your side still outnumbers ours.
For any neutral observers, the situation is straightforward:
Nuts, Krogs, and Benidorm have been cooperating for over two months, supporting each other and planning to build wonders together. Total: 144 players.
Check Mate + Heavy Metal: 116 players.
At the same time, we saw Hyke publicly criticizing CM for taking in former GreenBull players, while Nuts leadership actively trying to recruit the remaining GreenBull members. We also see Benidorm being called an “MRA” one moment and then being embraced as a wonder partner the next.
The lack of self-awareness in these accusations is striking. When you compare words with actions, the double standards become very clear to anyone paying attention.

Look at the date of the MM, look at the date of the maps, look at the wording of the MM, look at the development of the maps. You are liars, you chose to work with Benidorm for Wonders a long time ago, merging the teams for the wonders roster, a long time before Check Mate and Heavy Metal did. And then you have Hyke telling lie, upon lie, upon lie on he externals.
