Hey,
I was getting very frustrated and I have decided to quit, after losing 4 cities. I still have the desire to play, but just want to quit for a while. Anyway, my question is, if you get completely conquered, do you still keep your BP's and heroes?
I am guessing you do, but just making sure,

You shouldn't give up, maybe restarting on the rim and joining a strong local alliance may give you a better survival chance

Yeah, I will join back in October and my sister, who is taking most of my cities, will max them and give them back. Good luck to all until october
