ThaUnit doesn't seem active before or after your attacks..

He last message me the same week that our first conquest ended so 24 hours before that and then i would say attacks for a few days before that, he either logged on last pheraps a day before we began to attack or logged on saw the attacks and couldn't be bothered to defend.

Tha Unit was inactive at the time due to RL issues, when we all realised what had happened including ThaUnit 14 cities were lost, congratulations to Pheno.

Tha Unit is now in VM but intends to come back, at the moment other than a few takes here and there its pretty quiet.

At a guess I would estimate that SES are probably in the region +70 city gains in the overall stats.

Yeah he may have messaged you but he clearly wasn't active. I don't know what your definition of the term is but I would expect some points/BP gains on a daily basis to be considered active.
