I do not like Gold Trading at all. The idea itself is so easy to abuse that it would take multiple tweaks and adjustments to make it less overpowered. Even then that will not change the fact that this concept has always been frowned upon by the players. We like competitive servers, something that can not be received in a pay to play. I remember talking to my friends about gold many times during my first stint in this game (From July 31st 2012 until about August 2013), and all of them were happy that as easy as it is for players with gold, they were still unable to buy resources with money. This idea will allow them to do that, and this idea is as strongly disliked and when the game got rid of HC for like maybe 2 days. They listened and changed it back fortunately in that scenario, and I am hoping they will do the same under this situation. The fact that non gold users, and gold users are equally opposed to the idea should be enough for the game to realize that the community wants no part of this idea.

Also here is the link to my post in the feedback thread, it also says some of my viewpoints on the matter: http://forum.en.grepolis.com/showthr...249#post902249

No, I do not like the Gold Trading feature.
1) Will increase the gap between non-gold and gold users. There is already a substantial gap between these two types of players and this feature will only make it worse. Take for example what happened in Oropos a few days ago. A player was able to rebuild a full horse nuke in 24 hours but was able to do so only once as he ran out of resources. So with this feature in place he could basically build one full horse nuke everyday.
2) Gold farmers. Players who will only join worlds to obtain gold.
3) Free market = ridiculous offers for minimal gold. Gold farmers will make it impossible for players actively playing the world to compete with their ridiculous offers hurting only the sellers but furthermore benefiting the buyers.

Básicamente esta nueva 'mejora' es para beneficiar aún más a los premium con la posibilidad de ganar recursos, como si tuviesen ya pocas ventajas, ¿o me equivoco?

Basically this new 'improvement' is to further benefit the premium with the ability to gain resources, and as having few advantages, do I wrong?

NON.

Your argument of the top 50 top 25 that passes is completely disillusioned.
Think the players must also benefit from features .. And so places will not change.

One would imagine a supply of gold through quests or rewards (top 100, top 20 ect ..), which will force players to stay on a server instead of the starts. But there .. I'm just saying it's taking us for c ** k. You have a game that earns you well no that's not enough there is always more. You will not lose a player like me who still remain .. But you will lose the most recent community.
I'll dream to propose ideas for gold to a guy above you Comas. "Because there's good in your idea. But the offer through the market .. NO.

As I wrote in the other thread. Your (Inno) simply can not get enough. You are doing so, as if that for the player's advantage, as well as "non-buyers" can get gold. But the only ones who take advantage of it, you are! For sale by the gold trade, the pGUS more gold, that is: more revenue for Inno.
That was definitely for me with Grepo, bye.

this issue has nothing to do with Rhammus. However, I've collected enough quotes to say: Gold Trade Must Go Away.P.S. Harry....the French Server hate it too, haha.

I must admit that when I first seen this proposal I was disgusted, here we go I thought, another pay to win to game. However the more I think about it the more I see opportunity for those non paying players. There will always be gold buyers in Grepo, you can't get away from that fact, I myself have purchased gold in the past, mainly for replenishing troops quickly. So lets look at this from a non gold buyer's point.

We already have specialised cities for DLU, Naval, OLU, conquest, myths etc. so why not a specialised resource city. All resource buildings maxed out, market maxed, and the special building that helps (cant remember what it is). For a non paying player this will give them a nice amount of resources on a daily basis to trade for gold. Depending on the exchange rate I can see it being fairly easy for them to have all the premium advisor's running constantly. This in turn gives them a better chance during battles etc. So in a way this could actually balance the game out more than first expected. Yes there will be those gold buyers who will quite possibly have a 8-10k city before bp ends and they will have 3 or 4 cities fairly quickly with the abundance of resources... but I have seen gold buyers like this before, and the good players always catch them up and end up conquering a very nice city. I am sure there are a fair number of gold buyers who will survive , and who will go on to become a massive threat on whichever world they play...but I believe that will come about due to their skill and not the size of their wallets.

Merchant's Shop is the building that helps out in that regard. Also Rock you might need to get rid of the top portion of my quote where I quoted you in the PM while answering :p I also failed the vision test, I am near sighted and I don't see Marilyn Monroe but Einstein instead :(

I am a non paying player and quite frankly I don't want to see this implemented. To use culture points on a city dedicated to build no troops is a waste, wouldn't want a feature that weakens you. By the time you have enough city slots that you can put a city aside just to build resources, you will probably need the resources more to rebuild nukes in your other cities. Not to mention at the time what will most players need the gold much for when they are already pretty well developed. With heros, the boost from the advisers are essentially unimpressive in comparison (assuming by then that most of your heros have been leveled up). The only thing that a player of that size could really use is gold for the inventory slots (250 gold total) and the captain (with one click farming). Both are attainable through free gold offers, and although it is a grind it wouldn't use up a city slot. To be honest when you are using so much gold that you do get 8-10k in a blink of an eye, all you need is basic knowledge to survive. Especially when you could easily rebuild nukes if you used a lot of gold, and now would have the resources to rebuild them fast enough that you would never know they died. I see guys who buy culture points and stay up at the top for quite some time, so no you can compensate skills with a wallet (as long as you have basic knowledge that is easily attainable in the wiki). Just my thoughts :)
